china wast to energy projects

The expansion plan of Ksheera Sagar Agri Power!
The world’s largest waste-to-energy biogas project based on cow manure – from 250,000 cows in China – will produce 38,000 MWh annually and reduce CO2 emissions by 180,000 tons per year
JENBACH, Austria -- 5 May 2010 -- Helping to alleviate China’s energy shortage, Jenbacher biogas engines will power the new Liaoning Huishan Cow Farm, which, once completed, will become world’s largest biogas project based on cow manure.

The manure from the 250,000 cows at the Huishan farm, located in Shenyang, China, will be converted into biogas and is expected to produce 38,000 MWh a year
through four GE JMS420 Jenbacher gas engines. The energy generated will be sold to the state grid in China.

One of the features of the project is the utilization of fuel circulation. In addition to the use of biogas for power generation, the liquid (residual from biogas production) will be used to nourish the grass in the pasture, and the solid waste can be sold as organic fertilizer, thus the surrounding land will become a
base for organic agriculture.

When the new biogas power generation project is completed, it will be the world's largest cow manure project. It will not only serve China's national economic and environmental development goals, but it also is expected to reduce about 180,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.

“The disposal and treatment of biological waste represents a major challenge for the waste industry,” said Mr. Xu Guangyi, vice president of Liaoning Huishan Cow Farm. “GE’s efficient, durable and reliable
Jenbacher biogas engines will allow us to face that challenge by maximizing the use of an economical energy supply—cow manure.”

Biogas offers customers several advantages. It provides an alternative disposal of dung, liquid manure and biowaste, while simultaneously harnessing them as an energy source, a substitute for conventional fuels. It also has the high potential for reduction in greenhouse gases and is highly efficient for combined on-site power and heat generation. In addition, the remaining substrate from the digester can be used as high-quality, agricultural fertilizer, characterized by neutralizing the acid effect with a higher ph-value, keeping nutrients retained and nearly odorless.

“Our Jenbacher biogas engines allow us to provide customers with a cost-effective, high-output means of generating power by using waste material from agriculture as an alternative energy source while substantially and measurably reducing emissions,” said Prady Iyyanki, CEO-gas engines for GE Power & Water. “We are glad to be a part of the Huishan gas energy project as China and other countries in Asia seek to harness their own diverse renewable and alternative resources to create cleaner sources of energy.” The Huishan Cow Farm is scheduled to begin commercial operation in September 2010.

Benifits

                                                    Benefits
ΓΌ  Company is producing 135 million liters of organic milk to serve the demand.
ΓΌ  Company is producing 162 tons of bio gas and reducing emission of 162 tons of Co2 in turn helping reduce the environment pollution.

ΓΌ  Company is also producing Electricity which is a solution for many modern and industrial needs. We are producing 11.7 MW in an environmentally friendly manner.

ΓΌ  Company is producing the higher standards of organic manure and fertilizers of about 9000 tons and 18000 tons to cultivate 12000 Acres of land thrice in a year.

ΓΌ  Company is producing the Organic food grains, cereals and vegetables to improve the quality of food .We are producing approximately 150 tons food grains.

what we are working for

                                          Projects
This company starts with the project of dairy farming which is ever green demanding project and we are using live stock of about 5000 cows to produce 135 million liters of milk approximately, which can serve 10% of the demand of a market in metro cities and serve at least 5000 child dreams in rural areas.
Bio gas production is the second stage of the project which produces 162 tons of bio gas from organic wastage with the outcome from the 1st project which is dairy farming. In this way we are reducing nearly 200 tons of Co2 every year to save the earth from global warming.
The third stage of this industry is power generation. We cannot expect one minute without power. Bio gas power production is a Economical and committed source of power generation. KS Agri Power is producing power of 1.17 million units/ power with its Bio gas turbines.
Fertilizers are essential raw materials to obtain good productivity of food grains. KS Agri Power is producing 18000 tons of organic fertilizers and 9000 litres of manure.
Organic agriculture is a project adopted by the company. Company planed this organic agriculture and farms to improve the quality of food grains and cereals, vegetables and many more in 1000 acres of land. This cultivation will be increased by its expansion plan in coming years. The final target of the company is to cultivate lakhs of hectors throughout India by 2030.

what we try to do

Introducing a golden era in India through Ksheera Sagar Agri Power Private Limited. In this modern age Chemicals have become an integral part of human life. Almost all the people around the world are consuming medicines containing synthetic chemicals to cure. The side effects of this adulterated food to live. This has an adverse impact on stamina and life span of entire humanity. This not only effects human physically and mentally but also affects the atmosphere biological balance.

Here we have great idea of making the environment clean and healthy. The initiative is taken up by Ksheera Sagar in introducing power generation through bio gas production which is the best source of making environment clean. We use best quality of manure and bacteria to cultivate the best quality of food grains. This will increase the lands fertility by four times which means we can cultivate four yields in a year doubling the world’s productivity.

Dairy farming is good method of producing live stock & milk. The dairy industry had ever green demand for its products and rapid growing of demand also help the industry stay ahead. We are specially focused on live stock of cows because of its medicinal values. The culture of India was based on agriculture foods & livestock. Our ancient people are purely dependent on agriculture, live stock and lead a pleasant life. We ignored a natural life style and adopted an abnormal life style. Most of them feel that this unnatural lifestyle is the best. While we were discussing about this life style a person among us, Mr.Durga prasad after a lot of research found solutions for the benefit of present and the next generation. He came up with a multi beneficial project introduced as “Ksheera Sagar Agri Power Private Limited”, a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 which is authorized to carry on the business of dairy farming, bio gas production, electricity generation and organic agriculture.

The animal waste is one of the natural resource of renewable energy. The energy released can be sufficient to serve whole human community for their basic necessities. Recently china established project of power generation based on cow manure which reduces Co2 emissions.

Bio gas has several advantages. Biogas production eliminates disposal of dung, liquid manure and bio waste while simultaneously acting as good source of energy, a substitute for conventional fuels. It also has the high potential for reducing green house gases and is highly efficient for combined on-site power and heat generation. In addition the remaining substrate from the digester can be used as high quality agricultural fertilizer, characterized by neutralizing the acid effect with a higher ph-value, keeping nutrients retained and nearly odourless.

One of the features of the project is the utilization of fuel. In addition to the use of biogas for power generation, the liquid (residual from biogas production) will be used to nourish the grass in the pasture, and the solid waste can be sold as organic fertilize, thus the surrounding land will become a base for organic cultivation.

This organic based land has high fertility and is capable to produce organic cereals, food grains, merely natural, nutritious, medicinal valued and ultimate healthy food for human community. This process is well known to Indian traditional agriculture, but with the modern approach it will secure the productivity of agricultural outputs and improve the crop cycle without spoiling the soil and atmosphere. This is a fantastic quality of organic agriculture to gain adequate quantity of almost double the productivity.

Hence the summary of this project is higher rate of productivity of natural consumables and improving survivelance on the earth.
